Welcome to FartLog! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FartLog application and website ("Service"), operated by FartLog Inc. ("us", "we", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Accounts

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide us with an accurate email address for authentication purposes (via magic link). You are responsible for safeguarding your email account and for any activities or actions under your account.

2. Subscriptions

Our Service is offered on both a free and a paid "Pro" subscription basis.

• Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring, periodic basis (such as monthly or yearly).
• Payment: All payments are handled by our third-party payment processor, Dodo Payments. We do not store or collect your payment card details.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal, as described in our Refund Policy.

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of all the data you log in the Service, including your meal tags, symptoms, and notes ("User Content"). We claim no intellectual property rights over your User Content. We will not view, share, or distribute your individual User Content, as it is protected by Supabase's Row Level Security, which restricts access to only you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service in any way that is unlawful, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose or activity.

5. Disclaimers (Important!)

FartLog is not a medical device or a healthcare provider. The Service is an informational and educational tool only. It is not intended to be, and does not constitute, a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on the Service.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall FartLog Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
